Hair highlights in Singapore usually cost $100 to $170. Plan on about $150 for short hair and about $195 for long hair.

But the same highlights start at $60 at one well-reviewed salon in Kovan and $200 at another on Orchard Road. Here’s what each budget gets you, and the best-reviewed salons at each price, from the menus of 97 salons we checked this month.

Under $100

What to expect: mostly neighbourhood salons with one “from” price for a simple, one-tone set of highlights. Only 6 of the 22 salons in this range print a price for each hair length, so send a photo of your hair and the look you want before you book. A good fit for subtle, natural highlights on darker hair.

Is it worth paying more? In general, extra money buys time and finer work: thinner sections, more foils, and a colourist who places them to suit your face and how your hair falls. If you want a big change, like going much lighter or soft babylights, or your hair is long or already coloured, that time is worth paying for. For a few subtle face-framing strands, a simpler set does the job.

  2. Partial or full head. Partial or face-framing highlights usually cost about $40 less than a full head at the same salon.
  3. How light you go. Creative and Caucasian highlights use more bleach and time, and usually cost about $100 more than classic ones.
  4. Toner and treatment. Some salons add a toner or a bond treatment to protect lightened hair. Ask whether it’s included or extra.

How we got these numbers: we read the published menus of 97 Singapore salons that offer full-head highlights (September to October 2026) and took each salon’s starting price. Partial, creative and balayage-style highlights are counted separately, and trial offers, packages and men’s prices are left out. Prices change, so treat this as a guide and confirm your price when you book.
