Welcome to Glamingo. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Glamingo platform as a Customer. By creating a Customer account, making a Booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. About Us
The Glamingo platform (“Platform”) is owned and operated by Glamingo.ai Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202553410W) (“Glamingo”, “we”, “us”, “our”). The Platform is a discovery and booking marketplace that connects customers with independent beauty and wellness service providers (“Merchants”) in Singapore.
We are a marketplace and discovery layer. We do not own, operate, or directly provide the beauty or wellness services listed on the Platform. Those services are delivered by Merchants, who are independent businesses responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and pricing of their services.
2. Definitions
- “Booking” means an appointment or service reservation that you submit through the Platform.
- “Customer Account” means the account you create on the Platform to make and manage Bookings.
- “Customer” or “you” means an individual who uses the Platform.
- “Merchant” means a beauty or wellness business that lists services on the Platform.
- “Platform” means the Glamingo website, mobile applications, embedded booking forms, and any other channel through which the Glamingo service is made available.
3. Eligibility
To use the Platform as a Customer, you must be at least 16 years old, or be using the Platform with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or making a Booking.
4. Customer Account
4.1 Account Creation
You may make Bookings as a registered Customer with an account, or as a guest providing your contact details at the point of Booking. Both options are subject to these Terms.
4.2 Account Identifier
Your mobile phone number or email address is used as a primary identifier for your Customer Account and your Booking history on the Platform. By providing a phone number or email address, you confirm that it belongs to you and that you are authorised to receive communications on it. We may require you to verify ownership of these contact details through a one-time code sent via WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
4.3 Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your Customer Account. You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. You may not share, sell, or transfer your Customer Account.
4.4 Updating Your Information
You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and up to date so that we and Merchants can reach you about your Bookings.
5. Bookings
When you submit a Booking, you are sending a request to a Merchant. The Merchant is responsible for confirming, declining, rescheduling, or cancelling Bookings, and for providing the underlying services. Each Merchant sets their own cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policy, which is communicated to you on their listing or with the Booking confirmation. You agree to follow the Merchant’s policy.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and personal information so the Merchant can reach you about the Booking.
- Attend Bookings on time, or cancel or reschedule with reasonable notice in line with the Merchant’s policy.
- Pay the Merchant directly for the services delivered, in accordance with the price displayed at the time of Booking.
- Treat Merchant staff and premises with respect and follow any reasonable safety, hygiene, or operational instructions communicated by the Merchant.
- Disclose any allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, or other circumstances that may affect the safety or suitability of the services.
We may, in our discretion, suspend or restrict your account if you repeatedly fail to attend confirmed Bookings without notice.
Currently, payment for services is made directly between you and the Merchant. If we introduce integrated payment processing in the future, additional terms specific to that functionality will apply.
6. Reviews and Content
You may leave reviews and ratings for services you have actually received. Reviews must be honest, based on your genuine experience, and free from defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
You retain ownership of reviews, photos, comments, and other content you submit (“Customer Content”). You grant Glamingo a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute Customer Content on the Platform and in marketing of the Platform.
We may remove or hide Customer Content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
- Provide false, misleading, or impersonating personal information.
- Make Bookings you do not intend to attend, or use the Platform to harass any Merchant or person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to our systems.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform without our written permission.
- Interfere with the Platform’s operation through spam, malware, or denial-of-service activity.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Platform or any data obtained from it.
- Manipulate the Platform’s review or rating system, including by submitting fake reviews.
- Use the Platform in any manner that is harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or that violates the rights of others.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misuse, or activity that puts other users at risk. Where reasonably practicable and not prohibited by law, we will give you notice before doing so.
You may close your Customer Account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Closing your account does not cancel any confirmed Bookings; you remain responsible for fulfilling those or cancelling them in line with each Merchant’s policy.
Termination does not affect rights and obligations that have already accrued. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9. Our Role and Disclaimers
The Platform is a marketplace. We do not deliver Merchant services, employ Merchant staff, or guarantee the suitability, safety, quality, or outcome of any service. Each Merchant is independently responsible for the services they provide.
Information about Merchants — including service descriptions, prices, availability, and ratings — is supplied or generated by Merchants and customers, not by us. We take reasonable steps to keep the Platform accurate but cannot guarantee that all such information is current or error-free at any given moment.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend or restrict the Platform for maintenance, security, regulatory, or operational reasons.
The Platform may surface beauty and wellness content (including AI-generated recommendations) for informational purposes only. This content is not a substitute for professional medical or other expert advice.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the Platform “as is” and disclaim all warranties not expressly stated. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from your use of the Platform.
Any dispute relating to the underlying services — including service quality, refunds, injury, or pricing — is between you and the Merchant. While we may, in our discretion, assist in resolving such disputes, we are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for its outcome.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore consumer protection law.
11. Privacy
How we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. When you make a Booking, we share your name, contact details, and Booking details with the relevant Merchant so they can deliver the service. Merchants are independent organisations and are responsible for their own handling of your data.
12. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its name, logo, design, software, content (other than Customer Content and Merchant content), and trademarks, is owned by Glamingo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform without our prior written permission.
13. Communications
By creating an account or submitting a Booking, you agree that we and the relevant Merchant may contact you using the channels you have provided (including phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and email) for transactional purposes — such as Booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and verification.
If you wish to receive marketing communications (such as promotional offers or newsletters), you may opt in separately. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by emailing [email protected].
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable advance notice (typically at least 14 days) by email, in-app notification, or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after a change comes into effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally. The Singapore courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable right you may have under Singapore consumer protection law.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Platform. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. A failure or delay by us to enforce a right does not waive it. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign without our written consent.
