Eyebrow Threading Price in Singapore 2026: What You’ll Really Pay

Eyebrow threading in Singapore costs $5 to $12 at most salons, and the median price on the 11 salon menus we reviewed is $7. Brow studios sit higher, up to about $22, while brow-bar “brow design” services are a different product at $85 to $115.

So if you’ve been quoted $6 at a parlour in Little India and $20 at a mall brow studio, both are normal. This guide breaks down what you’re paying for, what costs extra, and what a year of tidy brows really adds up to.

Eyebrow Threading Prices at a Glance

We looked at the brow-threading price on 11 Singapore salon menus from our marketplace research, captured between April and September 2026. Each salon counts once, at its standard single-session price. First-visit promos, packages and add-on prices aren’t counted.

TierBrow threading priceShare of salonsWhere you’ll find it
Budget$5 to $6About 2 in 5Traditional threading parlours
Mid$7 to $12About 1 in 3Neighbourhood beauty salons and parlours
Premium$15 and up (to about $22)About 1 in 5Brow studios and brow bars

The middle of the market is $7. The prices customers mention in reviews ($5 to $12) line up with what the menus say, so the menu price is usually the price you pay.

Why Does One Salon Charge $5 and Another $20?

The thread costs next to nothing. The price difference is mostly about where you are and what kind of shop it is:

  • Threading parlours do a high volume of quick services, often walk-in friendly, and price for regulars. That’s where $5 to $7 lives.
  • General beauty salons that offer threading next to facials and waxing tend to sit around $10 to $12.
  • Brow studios treat brows as their main craft, often in a mall, and charge $15 to $22 for threading.

A higher price doesn’t automatically mean a better shape. Plenty of people have used the same $6 threader for years. What you’re really paying for is a steady hand and someone who listens to how you want your brows.

What Costs Extra

Other areas of the face. Upper lip, chin, forehead, sides and full face appear as separate items on threading menus, so a brows-plus-lip visit costs more than the brow price alone. We didn’t collect enough of those prices to quote a reliable range, so check the menu before you sit down.

Small surcharges. Some parlours offer a blade option alongside the thread. One menu we reviewed charges $1 more for it on top of a $7 brow service.

Brow tint. Tinting is a separate service. On the two menus we reviewed that list it, a brow tint costs $42 to $50. Tints are cosmetic products, which are regulated in Singapore by the Health Sciences Authority. If you’ve reacted to hair dye before, ask for a patch test first.

Brow Shaping vs Brow-Bar “Brow Design”: Not the Same Thing

This is where prices can look confusing, because several different services get called “brow shaping”.

ServiceTypical priceWhat you get
Eyebrow threading$5 to $12 (most salons)Hair removal with thread to clean up your shape
Brow trim, shave or clean-upAbout $10 to $30A quick tidy at a beauty salon, without threading
Brow-bar “brow design”$85 to $115A full design session: mapping, shaping and usually tint

A brow-bar design session is closer to a mini makeover. The artist maps a shape to your face, removes hair (often with a mix of wax, thread and tweezers) and often tints. At one brow studio we looked at, the tinted version costs $15 more than the untinted one.

Our take: if you already like your brow shape, threading at $5 to $12 is all you need. A design session can be worth it once, if you want a new shape mapped out, and then a regular threader can maintain it.

How Much Does Threading Cost per Year?

Most people thread their brows every two to four weeks. That’s 13 to 26 visits a year. Using the prices above:

How oftenVisits a yearAt $7 (median)At $12
Every 4 weeks13About $91About $156
Every 3 weeks17About $119About $204
Every 2 weeks26About $182About $312

These are our estimates, multiplying the menu prices by visit frequency.

Even at the higher end, that’s roughly $8 to $26 a month. It’s one of the cheapest beauty habits you can keep up, which is why so many people stay loyal to one threader.

Some parlours sell bundles. One we reviewed sells 11 threading sessions for $100, against $10 for a single session, which works out to about $9 each. Packages can save you money, but only buy one from a parlour you’ve already tried and liked, and pay per visit until you trust them.

How to Get a Fair Price

  • Check whether the price is for brows only. If you also want the upper lip done, ask for both prices upfront.
  • Watch for first-visit promos. Some parlours offer a first threading at $5, or a discounted thread with a facial. Nice, but compare the regular price too.
  • Don’t buy a package before your first session. Try the threader first.
  • Pay for the hand, not the fit-out. A plush studio isn’t a guarantee of a better shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does eyebrow threading cost in Singapore?

Most salons charge $5 to $12 for eyebrow threading, and the median on the 11 salon menus we reviewed is $7. Traditional threading parlours sit at $5 to $6, neighbourhood beauty salons around $7 to $12, and brow studios charge $15 to about $22 for the same service.

Why is brow threading at a brow bar more expensive?

Brow studios treat brows as their main craft and are often in malls, so they charge $15 to about $22 for threading. Their “brow design” sessions cost $85 to $115 because they include mapping a new shape and usually a tint, which is a different service from a quick thread.

How much does threading cost per year?

Threading every two to four weeks means 13 to 26 visits a year. At the $7 median that’s about $91 to $182, and at $12 it’s about $156 to $312. Even at the higher end, that’s roughly $8 to $26 a month, which keeps threading one of the cheapest beauty habits.

Is upper lip threading included in the eyebrow price?

No. Upper lip, chin, forehead, sides and full face are listed as separate items on threading menus, so a brows-plus-lip visit costs more than the brow price alone. Ask for both prices upfront, and check whether there’s a small surcharge for a blade option.
